It's 1987 again. A trader mistyped a 'B' instead of a 'M' for an order of Procter and Gamble (well, supposedly) according to major news sources:

Between rumors of interbank lending seizing and hedge fund liquidations, the market responded in kind:

Bizzare doesn't describe it. Some people made a fabulous amount of money today; others like Citigroup (the party who supposedly made this transaction) might not be so fortunate. I'll try to keep this updated if I find what really is going on.
